CORBELLINI S.p.A. has been operating in the paper industry since 1964.At first, its production was dedicated mainly to the smelting of special steels: stainless steel AISI 316 with special tungsten- cobalt – molybdenum based binders called CORBITE. This material was used for the beams of single foils or for suction boxes.

The technological development of the machines and the increase in speed of the installations aimed at greater production made it necessary to find a solution to the ever-increasing problems of wear for the support systems for the forming fabrics, finding a valid alternative in ceramic materials

In 1978 CORBELLINI S.p.A began independently producing aluminium oxide for the manufacture of dewatering elements for the fourdrinier.
